A long day for Sushi

A Personal best for me (not hard to do when it's only my 2nd YT).

Spent a day in LJ, fly lining a BIG mac when this girl decided to test my abilities.

The fight was intense, and I wondered at times what it was. At first I didn't see color, but my leader was close to the boat, and it saw me and took off!

It must also have had 20/20 eyesight, cause as soon as she saw my gaff came out, it took a 2nd massive run and must have known what was coming

The picture doesn't seem to do it justice, but it did come in at a nice 32lbs.

Greg,

Nice job on big fish!! Your heart must still
be pounding. Way bigger than my
personal best yellowtail.

Uh oh...

What's that now, Greg---three trips in a row?

I think I've created another kayak fishing addict!

Man on fire!

My buddy has been doing boat names up in Marina Del Rey for years. Most of his work is on Yachts. We thought we'd give the Yak a name and see how it handles the abuse. So far so good !
