Launch 500 to half foot surf lapping at your ankles.
Bait all over load up on 5 or 6 right way.
Drop one on some marks in 85' hook up at 0545
Trolled around trying for number 2
Off water at 0830 to small surf.

Agreed. I was out Saturday from 6:30-14:00 and didn't catch any bait, neither macs nor sardines. Tried both sides of the pier first, then all the way to the north edge of the reserve, then back to the edge of the reserve by the cove. Nada. Lots of little lizard fish.

Yeah it was bad. I have never had a day where I wasn't able to make bait until last Saturday. Was otw from 5:30 to 17:00

I used a small 5" lizard fish as bait as a last resort at the end. Nothing bit it lol

The calico bite was on fire though

Yup agreed I'd say less than 5% of my fish I have seen on my FF.

Now bait, structure, GPS all very important
