Getting one this year!

I have been waiting for march, I want a big WSB so bad. I was hoping for some advice.
Is night fishing the ticket for WSB? Also is it more productive fishing the edge of the kelp and shallow water, or do I look for them the same as yellow tail.
I have landed close to 20 yellowtail over the last 4 or 5 years, but a WSB has evaded me so far. I may of hooked one or two before I switched to braid, Ive been kelped by some big strong fish.
I am ready, any tips or advice?

Don't know much about yakfishing BUT I do know that some big tankers can be had on 40# line with the biggest Krocodile you can find with a mackerel pinned on it. Switch out the treble for a single siwash and pin it on. Deadly on tankers!

The best advise is.........just be out in the water as much as you can in the spring time and you'll get one. But stick close to the kelp. You wont find much in the 100' range. And definetly wanna be there before greylight...just improves the odds.
