Probation for third offense, seems like the penalties are not enough to stop this guy.

SAN DIEGO COUNTY — A man accused of poaching lobsters from a state marine conservation area in La Jolla pleaded guilty Wednesday to misdemeanor charges and was placed on probation for three years.
Binh Chau, 34, of San Diego also was ordered to serve 90 days in jail for violating probation in a previous case. This was the third time in less than two years that Chau had been convicted of poaching in the area.
Most recently, Chau was arrested March 17 when a state fish and game warden saw a man fishing for lobsters in the La Jolla Underwater Park, which extends from La Jolla Cove to Scripps Pier.
State law prohibits fishing or taking any marine resource in the protected area. At the time of his arrest, Chau had a bag containing four lobsters, three of which were undersized, the San Diego City Attorney's Office said.

3 years probation + 90 days for violating the prior probation. They'll probably let him out early due to overcrowding. What will they do in a couple months when they catch him again?
