Going to LJ on Weds. Any reports?

I will be taking my son out fishing Weds. AM. This will be his first trip. Anyone had any luck out there lately? Please share.

I'll be out there somewhere Bob, I have heard from a bird that bait has been on the tough side. Are you getting your son out of bed before 8?

My son, (named Eric also), is 26. Being unemployed, he usually sleeps till about 10. I told him the bus leaves at 7 AM. Maybe it will just be me fishing tomorrow.

Has anyone been catching anything?

Bob

LJ is on FIRE... if you are targeting sand dabs.

It was slow today, and bait was scarce.
-Warm water temps though.

try making bait in deeper water they seem to be out further rather than usual. I saw them Right before that big break across the kelp in the NW corner of the kelp. Not sure if thats clear enough but its a good 30-40 yrd break running paralell to the shoreline. They got thick there around 10-11.
