Very cool...I hear they hook up from the boat then pass the rod to a guy in the 'yak. Still would be a blast!

Pretty sure all of these fish were hooked from the yak, but used a boat to get off shore to them. Eight Billfish in two days is one hell of an accomplishment no matter how you do it.
