Any plumbers in San Diego?

Need to tee and run an extension of a gas line about 8'. One company quoted about $280. Anyone looking to make some side cash. Potentially also have an over the table need to replace drain line and add a standpipe for washer.

Any plumbers in San Diego?

Make sure they know what they are doing. Gas lines need to be fused properly to ensure they are gas tight under pressure. I do this for a living. Im a contractor for sdge to fuse/pipefit underground natural gas lines. Ton of money in it right now replacing all the old leaky stuff over the county to the newer yellow PE material. What size gas line? Steel? Poly? What is it running to?

You dont want a plumber, you need a fuser. If they start gluing your gas lines together you got the wrong guy for the job. Some plumbers do have fusing certifications. If you can give me some more info I might be able to help you out.

Thanks for the info yak. I'm looking to tee my 1/2" line feeding my water heater, installing a SOV, and running the 6ft to a nipple for a gas dryer. I thought it would be all metal-metal flare fittings.
