WS Weight

I have a Tarpon 160 and Love it. Weight capacity is very high in my standards. I weigh 250, then add five gallons of water in the bait tank, tackle, rods, emergency equipment and layered clothes. The thing floats and performs well with all of that. I can't say much when I have fish on board because I don't catch much.

Is the load capacity really only 375#? I can't believe that. I think I saw Dave Easton with at least 375lbs of WSB on his T160 once. You couldn't even see the kayak; it looked like he was straddling a raft made of lashed-together WSB.

Anyway.....let me know if you still have it when January rolls around.

Right on Doug, ill let you know for sure.. Selling this thing will probably be paying for my Utah tags for our hunt too. On that subject, I just sent you an email that may get you excited even more so haha

I've been watching this post and can't believe it's still not sold yet. One hell of a good deal right there.

Ok, I know I shouldn't buy another yak, but I gotta have it.

Since you won't throw in a bent shaft paddle how about you come over every weekend with "my new kayak" on the top of your car and drive me to the beach and ya know, kinda hang out until I want a ride home. Deal?

Waiting your reply.

Good luck selling her....

I had a 160 once...traded it plus some cash for a second Revo (want to sell it back, Dave?) The 160 surfs just fine. Great ride, extremely comfortable and fast too. However, it was the first yak I flipped in.

Sorry

Sorry roger, I love the tarpon. I feel a bit more comfortable in it than the revo. Your welcome to borrow it until you get another yak

So I have all the parts ready to do my rear leaf springs and bed cage except shocks. They are almost exactly 800.00. If you have 800 cash and contact me you could have yourself a new kayak. One hell of a deal for a 160 with rudder and sonar....

$800.00? I can't believe it's still on the market at $1,000.00.

Don't make me drive out there.

I know the time of year and the economy aren't helping but I can't believe you still have it. I've been tempted to drive down and get it but I don't have a rack to carry it on top of my Trailblazer. Of course, you sell those too, right?
