Clear coat acrylic automotive From Harbor freight. The v holds your saddle bags off the exhaust I wouldn't be afraid to try 1/2in stainless with this bender But you would be putting it to the max

$35 for the bender
$20 for 20ft 1/2 tubing $20 for paint and clear coat total $75 Plus I have enough material left for a front rack.
