2.5

I'd be interested in a 2.5 it it was over a weekend. I did a 1.5 a couple years ago and it was not long enough for me, felt rushed. 2.5 days would be perfect! Can't do the 7 day this year but that trip sounds epic and a must do in the future.

I really want to do one of these but I have a Pro Angler. Would it be too heavy of a yak to put on the boat?

I have a PA also and was just thinking the same thing. I would think it would be ok. We would just have to strip it down like removing the seat and what ever attachments.

Sorry I havnt got back to you guys. The Islander crew says Pranglers are no problem. To do these however you will likely be the last one off the boat as they have been talking about putting them up top with the skiffs (using the lift system).

Ill let Shane know that there is interest in the 2.5 day change for a June Trip and see what we can figure out.

Alright guys good news, the June 10-12 trip has now been changed to a 2.5 day that will depart the 10th and get back on Monday the 13th. Price is 495.00 and a 100.00 deposit will hold the spot.

Last year we only had 1 of 4 trips make it out from what I recall. This year is already looking better on sign ups. If everybody tin this thread that said they wanted the 2.5 day signs up there will be no issue.

Gents, Just curious, but I do mostly bass fishing from my yak - I have most of the gear i would need for this trip due to some time out in Florida for a military school, but would this be a decent way to kind of "break in" to some "deep water" fishing? Trip sounds awesom, but I sure don't want to get out there, find out I'm in way over my head and wreck it for anyone else!

Unless you cause someone to lose fish or act like a complete ass you most likely won't ruin it. Depending on the group you may have some great talent to learn from. And you are a VHF call away from a zodiac buzzing out to you full speed for support. So, would be a good "deep water" learning trip. Plus, you just need to paddle to the island for bass if you decide deep is not for you

Shouldn't have spent my money on that Craigslist hooker, coulda paid for the 2.5 day trip with that money. Guess I'll have to start saving up again.
