New to your site, does any one know if a bed extender is wide enough to carry 2 kayaks. im getting ready to get a tarpon 140, and need away to carry both it and the prowler 13 until i save enough funds for a rack system
thanks for your input

Its more of a matter of 2 kayaks fitting in the bed of your truck side by side.

I use the Bed Extender to haul boats to the freight office all the time. Most if had in my Tacoma is 6. Its all about how you fit them in there.

True.
I've done 4 in the back of my S-10, and that's not a huge bed (6ft).

The trick really is how you stack them. Like taco shells, laying on their sides at a 45 degree angle, like mating grunion.
Or Pringles.
You get the idea.
A bed extender should really help though.

Good luck, welcome to the board.

I have a Ford F250 with a bed extender. Two kayaks fit fine.
