**This was one of my many many surf fishing rods that I own. Love the length for castability, the med-fast tip for the sensitivity and quick hook set, and the back bone to muscle in the bigger grade fish.

I matched it with an Abu Garcia Ambassaduer Kalex 60 but any medium round bait casting reel would work.

I mainly used it in the saltwater but rinsed, cleaned, and wiped off after each use.**
