Lol! Those are only for people who expect to catch big fish. Besides, I’ve got King Saba - the crazy fish killer.

Nice fish!

Glad to see guys get excited about catching a nice halibut like that. Everybody should get excited about catching a fish like that! It's a fish of a lifetime to most people. These days watching Greg catch one...you'd think his dog died...

Wow nice catch! I was told there are big butt along the beach but me personally I don't feel comfy eating fish caught in LBC. I caught legal bass all day long a few weeks ago and let them all go. But if you both were cool with it, I'd love to learn from you 2, hell I'll treat to bfast or lunch to show my appreciation!

That's a nice one.

It's hard to estimate the weight of the fish without a scale, I've seen 40" halibut that were 20lbs and some that were almost 40lbs. Regardless, that's a nice fish for that area, congrats!!!

Knowing Tony, I read both of the comments listed as he enviously wishes he could capture that enthusiasm and excitement of the days of old.

I agree, he's so bad at catching now that he couldn't catch his dog if he took the wheels off him.

Really awesome fish! I caught one that was exactly 40 inches this week and it weighed 25.5lbs for reference. Ate the Mac....
