Yes sir, On the 04x08 Watch on merchant ships -- One sees the sunrise and sunset every day. Getting up for watch at 330am can be tough. However, once nautical twilight begins, energizing rejuvenation commences. There is sometimes a 5-15 minute segment when the sky refracts turquoise rays prior to sunrise. It's a magical time in the morning. Love the way the sun is reflecting off the glassy calm seas. It does not get much better than that -- Epic photos! Looks like you maximized the therapeutic qualities of the adventure -- Thanks for letting us in on it.

During my first couple of years kayak fishing I be used to catch multiple lizard every trip. I haven't caught one in the last couple years. I have mixed feeling on their resurgence.

Do you ever put them out as bait? A Floridian kayaker took a sailfish on one, and another angler landed his PB Spanish Mackerel with a live lizardfish.

They kept biting my jig, so I fished with one on the bottom for a little bit as a makeshift hamburger rig since I couldn't seem to get the jig to the bottom without a lizard or mac taking it!! Never thought of intentionally rigging a lizardfish though. Their jaws seem pretty light, so I imagine using a light hook up through the center of the nose would work best? Might be an option if I can't catch anything else!
