Maybe this can be moved and sticky to the HOW forum
That sub forum does not allow HTML, so easier to post here.

Maybe we could start a Q&A thread in the HOW section with a link to the sign up here.

Just a little more than 3 months to go. Holidays are over and I am checking on contributions.

Werner paddles just offered a killer Shuna Hooked in Bluefin color combination as one of the raffle prizes

A second kayak has been confirmed for the raffle. Malibu Kayak is on the sponsor list once again this year.

Uh oh, am going to have to Push my luck and go for broke 2 years in a row! CBadMike, this year if I win, I will donate to HOW ;P Excellent, Excellent, excellent tourney, my first time participating last year, even on an off year when nothing was being caught it was all still awesome fun and games! GREAT food, awesome down to earth people, and an even better cause to support. DEAMON-JIM, hope to attend the before night potluck and get together this year amigo! sorry about last. But as far the raffle goes, pshh, something else to be said for that.. Thanks Iceman and HOW for all you guys do, even more appreciate the fact my friends and I are able to paddle a Bad A$$ X-13 with gator hatch, pole holders and all because of you guys in alteration with my other baby; this is probably nothing compared to the awesome times you have provided many others, Vets Especially! Thanks for being there for the veterans more so than not especially when we live in times where they are not getting the due justice they deserve.

Tight Lines and till the tourney, hopefully the fish show up this time around!

I have been using the Hooked Shuna since it was introduced. Perfect paddle for me, graphics on the Bluefin make me want it! Win this $270 paddle with a $1 raffle ticket.

Everingham Brothers has just confirmed their continued support and will be sending us free bait scoop certificates for the raffle.

Jeff B upgraded the Biggest bass prize from a Curado to a Chronarch!

12 of these certificates for 1/2 scoops, I would imagine kayaks could double up and split these in 2 tanks.

$420 value, very generous donation from Everingham Bros!

I'm so bummed, I just realized that I'll be in NY the week of the big tourney.

Andy, is there any way I can contribute if I wont be in attendance?

Buy a ticket. I have done that, even when I know I can't attend

Last year was our chapter’s most successful season yet and we are gearing up for the start of another great one.

The participants and sponsors of the annual Mission Bay Classic enable us to continue utilizing the sport we all love to aid in the physical and mental recovery process of injured and or disabled military veterans.

This is a really fun way to help us help those who bravely serve us and we look forward to another great turn out this year.

If you have friends or family that would like to participate but don't own a kayak we will be renting gear again this year in exchange for a donation to our chapter.

We look forward to seeing you all on April 15th!

Don't forget to support the tournament sponsors by purchasing their products whenever possible. A positive comment/review on their social media site is another good way to acknowledge their support of HOW.

Yes, last year we must have had 40+ people sign up who knew they could not attend just to support the cause. You can also ask someone you trust that will be there to buy your raffle tickets.

Good to see some chatter and YES support these sponsors that give generously every year.
