It depends on the application. For bays it will be fine. For inshore......... not going to get the best reads. The picture quality and frequencies are not going to allow you to see everything you want to see.

Not to threadjack the OP, what is the best FF under $200? I would like one with gps and color isn't important to me.
Mainly be using it for inshore and the occasional trip to the lake.

Donno really as i dont have anything myself...but like they say you get what you pay for....

The most common ive seen posted about is the Eagle Cuda 350 combo. I think you can find it for around 169.99 or something online maybe a little cheaper.

As of now I'll mainly be using for depth and structure for bass fishing and I like that it has gps marking capabilities, will the eagle cuda 350 be sufficient? or is there something better for under 200?
