Hoover to willow is fairly short, but if you think about late wake up, get on shore midafternoon set up camp, drink some beers, campfire etc. You don't need to do a loooong stretch to have fun.

On the other hand if you want to seriously paddle and put some milage on, with the current, you can easily do 30 miles in 3 days.....easy.

Its just what kind of trip you want.

Keep in mind the time of the year. Once you are out of the canyons it can get pretty damn HOT out there. May or October, may be the best months.
