LJ Sunday Eve. 7/9

Launched around 5:00 to small surf and alot of ....... , shall we say kayak adventurists. Headed out to can for bait , found spanish only. Proceeded out to point area with two on troll. Seas were crossed, with very light wind, but very fishable. Looked up to see myself and a few boats on the water, where's everybody else ?. Paddle under birds and toss surface iron to catch all barracuda and bonito you want. However, still no yellows. See a large kelp paddy and throw swimbait hoping for a big fish but instead bagged three calicos off the surface. Fun day for catch and release.

Kinda depends on if you want live bait. Could take as long as 30 min. I think 5:00 would be better

I know your pain....I have 5 kids as well. Only... 2 of my stepkids live in Mass. so it's a little easier.

I can always tell the boss that I'm having a vision problem....can't see my self going to work. (sorry if everybody has heard that before)
