sloppy seconds in LJ

Bait was easy to come bye, except for the nasty Bonita thrashing up the biki . A first for me today while jigging up bait was winding on a few macs , when out of know where a yellow snatched my sibiki rig. I know it was a yellow because it happened 3ft from the yak . Went for a quick drag and pop he took his prize. Guess it was a sign that the strong current had the fish active and ready for the offering. Hooked one around 745 short minute later payback . Reset and bam another, I get a little sloppy and he gets away from me drags on bottom and bust me off on the rocks. Swell started to get nasty so decided to call it, back on the beach bye noon.

Awesome to hook a couple and at least bring one home before the washing machine action. Magic Seaweed has the wind strong after about 9am on, but looks better for Monday and Tuesday. I'll be hitting it Monday. Thanks for sharing. Congrats!

That's some heavy line sabiki right there, can imagine the hooks would straighten out ...need to look into the multi purposes sabiki lol.
