You guys rock! - Kayak Fishing Adventures on Big Water’s Edge

I just bought my first kayak (Malibu Stealth 14) a month ago after wanting one for years.
My main goal is to get out to the kelp beds and get em like you guys do.
I've done a couple of surf launches in Carlsbad without gear from infront of the power plant that went well during low tide and have been spending a ton of time in the lagoon when I haven't felt safe enough to try to surf launch with my gear.
I just wanted to thank all of you for all of the helpful advice that you've posted regarding my new addiction. I've spent hours reading everything and learned alot. Your fishing advice has been great and your safety advice has been awesome.
I am looking forward to meeting you guys and hope I'll have something to contribute to the forum soon. Well since I haven't been able to sleep and it's about 4:30 I think I'll load up and head out. Today might be the day I make it off the beach with my gear but if not I'll definitely will be fishing in the lagoon dreaming of WSB and YT.

I think I seen you in the lagoon this past weekend . Shoot me a pm sometime . Im going to hit cbad or San o on my next outing .
