that means "blems" or blemished/scuffed decal kayaks. sometimes its some discoloration, sometimes a damaged, but still functioning kayak. i got my extreme as a blem, it has "x-factor" printed on it!

For deals like that, which I believe only happens once a year. Saving mega buck in this economy, first come first serve, early as possible.

This is only the second time we have done this......I would get there before 9am. We should have twice the kayaks we had last time, but almost all sold in the first hour last time.

$299 is a basic model with no hatches or rod holders, the $411 is the fish and dive model with 3 hatches and 6 rod holders.

A new guy on here. Dont own a kayak yet but would like to come for the sale. Is it possible to get some info about the the X-factor and the stealth 14 and the extreme. How do they compare to each other in term of comfort, speed/control and how stable are they for a new guy?? I have very little exprience on a kayak but when i did go i had a blast. I would like to use it for fishing and just cruising for fun. Which ones does everyone prefer??? Any help is very appreciated.
would there be anyone at the sale to help out a new guy with a kayak??

Hi, Sasha! Heres a link might help you and afterwards call them. Tell them what you are looking for in a kayak, they will take care of you. They are real nice people over there at OEX. From my experience they are little laid back, which is good thing cause I dont like to be pushed into buying something.

How big of a guy are you, and where do you want to do most of your fishing?

Hi guys, Im 5-9 205lb. Not sure where exactly im going to be fishing from. But i guess im closer to Topanga and Malibu so that would be the place. I would also like to use it for just cruising around for fun. As someone who never done it before i cant base anything on my exp..

Go with a stable yak first, get your feet wet, and don't worry about the speed factor of a narrower yak.

You can always upgrade later when you get used to the whole kayak fishing thing...and you will.

Definitely go see Andy, he is the Masta...

If I lived closer I would go just to over the deals...

is it better to go with the X-factor or the stealth 14. Which one is easier to store the rods in?? All the kayaks might be sold before i make a choice standing there lol. Would like to figure out which one i should go for before i get there. Im not a huge fisherman like some guys/girls.
Oh yea i got a VW camper that i would need to get the kayak on top of. So i guess i got to think of that one as well before i get a kayak.
