9/27 AM

Same time, same place as yesterday. Surf was pumping in the AM, big short period wind swell. Took a pounding but Eric and I got out intact. Greenies right at the reserve line but they were moving around alot so it was some effort to make a dozen nice size ones. Drifted for but for nothing. Went to the north finger of scripps canyon and started pounding rockfish. Managed a dozen, half of which were decent and the other half smaller ones that wouldn't go back down. Surf had calmed down by the time we landed, but there were still some that could hurt ya. No sign of tail, no chatter on the radio.

Thanks for your report, alway's look forward to them good or bad.Those rockfish make excellent ciopinno by the way. Keep the hat it's got character.
