Quick and easy SDbay 2/1

Decided to take my lady out for a quick spin in the bay. Grabbed a few dines at the old bait barge around 3pm. While she was off playing with the seals I was getting my baits raked and spit out by something nice....

Fourth bait and I finally set the hook... Got pulled around for about 5 min...

Not the biggest but dam this one fought hard!

When I got the fish to color I could see another smaller butt following it up! It looked like it was riding the hooked ones back... Pretty cool sight I almost free gaffed it!

Anyone ever see that?

Put this one on the stringer and caught a few more bass and really nice sculpin (all c&r)... My girl snagged a nice butt at 21 inches and I also got a 23 inches that was released.

Total trip was about 90 minutes.... Quick and easy! If only it was always like that!

Cheers!

Very, very nice. Congrats to both of you. Hope to see you out there again. Always nice to see women out there catching fish!

That's a great trip for only 90 min. Looks like fish tacos are for dinner. WTG.
