Cobra Kayaks

I've heard that Cobra Kayaks will no longer be shipping kayaks to the United States. The final shipments could already be on their way.

Does that mean my Cobras will become collectibles?

I thought I was the only one who experienced his weak business skills.

My wife and I walked in one day, the only people in the store. He was at the counter reading a magazine and he clearly saw us in the store walking around looking at stuff... didn't say "welcome", didn't say, "let me know if you have any questions", and not-once did he come over and see if we needed help.

He just read his magazine and purposely ignored our presence. He literally lost our business with his apathy. We went in there one time and decided never to go back.

That guy's name is George. He used to have a shop in Dana Point.
He's the most worthless human being on the planet.

Thank God They're not making those prehistoric dinosaurs anymore.
There's no place to put a fish finder and no place to stow a big fish!

You need to be more honest and open. Tell us how you really feel.

I don't understand your comment about Cobra kayaks. I know a lot of you guys just don't like them.

It didn't take a whole lot of imagination to find a place to put a fish finder on my Cobra.

Below deck I have an insulated fish bag up in the bow and more room under deck forward and below my seat. I have no complaints with my ol' school yak.

Bwana,

I have to take responsibility for Driftwood's comments.

You see, although he has the most expensive, deluxe kayak
that ever was, he has no room to place a big fish.

Painfully, he learned that the hard way last summer when he was
trying to stow away his yellowtail. Because there's no room to stow big fish,
he had to gameclip it and hang it over the side. Where a big old
seal grabbed it and flipped him in the process. In the drink goes all
his untethered rods, reels, everything on his deck, and, of course himself.

I remind him of that day, everyday. Especially when I continue to
out pace him on the water in my big old fat Cobra FishnDive.

Long Live Cobras!! (But that George guy has to go...)

Yani, you can also remind him...

Not many kayaks can survive flying out of a truck
at freeway speeds like your FnD.

As soon as I read his post I thought of your video
with the YT looking back at you through the circular
hatch of your Cobra.

You need to make more videos! They were very entertaining.

Tony,

I love you. But. There's plenty of room in the PA for
the PHOTOGRAPHS. But how about the paddle/peddle home??

Oh, you've answered that: Gameclip over the side.

Every one of those fish can fit inside my kayak and
no one would ever know I was fishing the squid bite
at Mission Beach. Opps!!

I have no idea what your talking about??? What squid bite they're all harbor caught fish!!!!

Your right you cant hide anything...that's the drawback...believe it or not I pedaled in with those fish on top, not over the side...but we later...unfortunately caused a scene when we hit the ramp...

Yani can you hide all of our fish next time in your kayak/storage locker? I wouldn't want yeakhoe to find out about the double secret wide open harbor lizardfish bite next time.
