Be sure to bring multiple spare tires. And possibly an on board compressor to air down over the bad section and be able to air back up

Thanks for the tip.

After my first tip to Mako-ville, I bought a lot stuff to get me out of jam including new (4) wheel drive 4Runner.
50" High-lift jack, heavy duty Road chew plates, fast tire deflator, compressor, tow straps, etc.
Thus, I am prepared for getting stuck in sand. I even learned a trick or two from others at Mako-Ville.

With just the 4 wheel drive capability, I did not have to air down at Mako-Ville.

I will have one spare tire, but don’t have room for “multiple spare tires”.

Another option is before checking-in at the hotel in (SF) to visit the hot springs in Puertocito to soak some old bones.

Maybe even cast a line or two.

Just in case you didn't know, there is some additional road construction going on between SF and Puertocitos. So in addition to it being rough in the past, there are some significant detours on dirt in that section.

Thanks for the tip Ross.

My plans are not set in stone.

We may make some changes as we see fit.

The main objective is NOT to stress out and have fun.

As usual, it is taking a long time for the rip to start, yet it will wiz by once I get on the road in Los Angeles.
