Just bought my first Hobie but no mirage drives...so if anybody has a spare in their garage or don't use it let me know. Oh I live in OC

Not likely to find a used mirage drive, if you want a new one stop by, I have plenty.

mirage drive

I saw a mirage drive on Craigslist a couple days ago, either San Diego, orange county or inland empire. I don't remember which. Good Luck!

The security device you speak of is called"Pay attention to what the hell you are doing!" NO reason to allow your drive to get lost at the beach.

Now, if someone finds a rod in the surf, can they keep it?

How about a drive?

Just sayin, I would try to figure out who it belongs to but not really very hard.

put a leash on it

Like with anything in the Yak you dont wanna loose. Just leash it. You dont need to go buy a leash. Just take a small piece of rope, and tie it off to something, preferably not the cables to the FF. If you get washed out at the landing or flip at sea, they wont drop to the bottom if they come un-clipped.

Kaijuu, your Blue Hobie doesn't catch wsb or yellows (0/6). Can I get a refund?

This switch from a boat to a yak was supposed to save me money. I can't keep everything leashed up all of the time. For me, something gets fumbled over the side about every third trip (recently my game clip). It's a year in on this yakking thing and it's knives, dikes, two rods (I'm a man, I'll admit it...dammit). Luckily my tackle box floats. How and where I lost my pfd last month, I guess I'll never know, aghhh....

pro rated refund

pro rated refund, you've had it twice as long as I did, I'll give you half of the buying price plus 10.00 for your gas to bring it back. Seems fair, right?

On a brighter note, I'm gonna go catch a WSB and a YT today. Will post later.
