I don't know if there will be a 2007 Bajapalooza planned for PST.

I am thinking about trying to plan for Punta Banda and La Bufadora instead. Less likely to get blown out there in January.

There's a great spot just before Bufadora called Los Arbolitos. The turn off is about a quarter mile past Vonny Boats. It's a paved ramp on a narrow finger inlet that is like launching into a swimming pool no matter how large the swell is....I've seen La Bufadora closed out and not launchable. I 've always had better luck there also....calicos(biggest at 8 lb.), ling cod, and vermillions. It reminds me of Big Sur and a nice flat camping area just above the ramp.

There goes the neighborhood. Poor little town doesn't know what's in store for them.

How so? We're talking a mere 20 miles or so as the crow flies.

Troy, it just seems that PST gets funneled with the offshore and unprotected from the NW blow/ Fishing La Buf gets a little more protection and allows more options.
