First gaff build

Tried my hand at a gaff build for a buddy of mine. Hope he likes it.
If not I'll start taking offers

I take it you did everything on that... Rod wraps and all? Is it hard to learn? Looks like fun.

Did everything. I've done a few rods. It not hard but I'm no way in the league with some of the guys on B.D. The best part is the rattlesnake skin. My son caught it at a jobsite he was working. I was a little nervous working with it but I'm pretty happy. Going to make my son a custom rod with the "rattler"

I thought that was a snake skin.... Makes for a cool story, too. It looks great! Keep up the good work.

Nice work I like that trimar color. X2 on how tanning the skin went. Also how did it taste?
