Anyone ever hit PB Area?

Wondering if anyone has ever fished close the boundary line north of the pier & south of PB point? I used to dive the point all the time before these bastards closed it.

Ive fished it a few times. It's a long paddle from Mission Bay. Ive launch, I think, 3 times trim the beach at tourmaline. Easy launch with generally weak waves. The huge draw back of tourmaline is the landing. Usually You have to pass thru a crowded surf line up, then a bunch of boogie kids, swimmers, and finally waders. There's also an issue if the life guards will even let you land. Caught some calicos around there and there is some times a squid bite out off the pier. But not sure the landing is worth it. Mike
