Does anybody no if a trap rig /--------¿------¿

With a mackerel and trouble hook would detour....a sealion
Last thing I would ever want to do is hook a sealion in the mouth I bet I would work good for Dorado too

Why would you want to detour Dorado? Dorado is good eating fish man!
A trap hook won't work on experience dogs you'll only hook young inexperience dogs.

The best way to get rid of dogs is to slowly paddle up to your buddy and slowly paddle away.
Works great!! I do that to Yani all the time only he's too dumb to know it.

Not to detour Dorado

But they have a small mouth trying to eat a big greenback
And when you set the hook they have not swallowed it far enough to get hooked a trouble hook would get them for sure.Good point on the junior sealion

I can assure that it is very unlikely that a seal will bite into the trap rig, they will bite around it but highly unlikely that they will bite the hook............they are extremely smart and have great vision. I've had seals bite into my bait, when I bring my bait up the only thing that was attached to the hook was the head of the bait/fish.
