I was thinking that as well, but where would you find something like that? Local Home Depot?? Hardware store?

I believe the red/suction cup part is from harbor freight and the rest is PVC and Tennis balls.

dang... I just installed a $200 Yakima Showboat on my roof rack!

I'm pretty sure HF glass suction cups and some PVC would have cost less.
