LJ 6-27 - Kayak Fishing Adventures on Big Water’s Edge

made it out for afternoon run. on the water about 1pm. lots of bait up near the kelp. sabiki equals spanish macks and smelt. No greenies. trolled the edges for nada. made some drifts into the kelp pot holing. Small Calicos to 16 inches. Nothing to brag about. Had talked to another kayaker before going out. said it was pretty dismal. Well thats the report. saw a few other guys out there in the distance from the morning shift but did not get to see how they did. A few pb were fishing around and did not see them pull anything either. Cheers, BB
