I'm heading out Wednesday morning, anyone else?

It's my first time out at La Jolla. Anyone else planning a tirp that day? I've kayaked the bay half a dozen times and would like a buddy for my first time out. I believe I have everthing I need for catching live bait (sabikis, bait tube, dough bait for smelt). Made a gaff. Bought a net per regs. Life vest. NO electronics though. Do I need any saftey lights on the yak to keep with boating regulations? I plan on being down at La Jolla shores about 5:30 AM and will launch at the ramp next to the beach club. let me know if I can join you or if you'd like to meet me. I'll be in the orange Hobbie Outback.

Wednesday is my one day to make a gameplan for Saturday's tournament. I plan on launching around 4AM and hitting the pier for bait, if you want to make the 0'dark launch, happy to have ya. Otherwise try me on 71.

Come to think of it I think I met ya down at dog beach last year for one of the grunion runs? I could be wrong but if it's you I'll know who to look for. Thanks for the invite.
