What SHOULD BE on our pre-flight checklist for inspection each time before we launch our kayaks to fish in the ocean?

What spare parts SHOULD we carry with us?

What tools should we have for emergency repairs?

I am reexamining my own checklists and would like some experienced insight from others who have had to deal with breakdowns, on-ocean repairs and emergencies.
