We all lost a fishing friend today

We lost Marty Milner today. He was a known nationwide as an actor in Adam 12 and Route 66. He was also known here in Southern California as a co-host of the "Let's Talk Hook-Up" radio show. He loved fishing and talking about fishing.
Tight Lines Marty.

RIP Mr. Milner,
One of the few heroes of my youth that sparked my desire to make law enforcement my career. I remember the TV show, and two red lights flanking a center siren on top of the patrol car vividly.
Times change, and life goes on, but with great memories.

I was fortunate to fish with Mr. Milner on a Bob Marriott arranged (Milner sponsored) Fly Fishing trip to the San Juan River in NM back in '97. Possibly the best "tail water" trip I've ever been on! He was a very "down to earth" person who loved to talk fishing.
One Adam-12, Code 42. RIP

I had the opportunity to stop by his house a couple times in the early 80's and I use to see him cruzing del mar in his old blue chevy II wagon quite often. Cool guy, he will be missed.
