A Lunch Date with a Vermillion...

First, homemade bread

then, the prep work

now the cooking

and finally, the plating

cooked with garden fresh herbs & peter pan squash, lemon, olive oil, salt/pepper.

Tip of the Day: never salt a fish's skin before cooking if you
want to skin to crisp up and not stick to your frying pan, or grill.
Apply salt inside cavity and only outside after cooking.

thanks guys, hope you try eating a fish whole like this.
Cooking a whole fish always turns out more juicy and tender
since the fish is cooked with its bones.

Besides, sucking out the juices from the head is the best part.

Socalkayak, i appreciate the offer. I'll use your knife if
you trying cooking a whole fish.

Gabe, your fish looks great. I'll bet you didn't salt the skin.

Yani, that looks awesome, you eat the skin, correct?

Your bread looks fantastic. I used to cook quite a bit of fresh bread and thick pizza dough for the family. Albertsons put an end to that with their fresh baked bread for a buck something. Now I want to make a batch of my potato bread as it blows away Albertsons, if I could only find the time
