I decided to go with the rack with an extender added. The extend-a-bed gizmo has to much play and wobbles uncontrollably.

$150 is a steal for a complete rack system..(especially with the Q stretch kit). Good buy !

HA!! I wish!

Actually, it was closer to $200, I forgot about the front wind deflector. I already had the bars, Q towers and locks but I needed new Q clips for my Civic.

2 sets of Q clips : $70 + tax
Extender: $75 on Craigslist
Used wind deflector: $24 + tax @ REI
