La Jolla 4/30

got out today about 11am. couldnt make bait. saw a spear fisherman on the way in that had a large WSB. he looked broke off from paddling. but he had a big fish all i could see was the tail.

paddled around and jigged and tried squid and then paddled back in.

surfed it in getting absolutely side ways and managed a dry landing.

if you lost a rod in the surf at la jolla recently send me a description and you'll get it back. then you can clean all the sand out of the real.

ps can we get a skunk cartoon?

Lost rod and reel

I lost a shimano trinidad on an older brown tuna stick about a month plus ago. The initials EF or LF are scratched into the bottom of the reel. If this is it I owe you a major lunch!

I did. Thanks for the mention. I sent him a PM describing what I lost. I haven't received a reply yet.

who me? I didn't lose a rod in La Jolla surf on monday around 1pm

Thanks for picking it up... Bought a new rod a while back so the sabiki rod got demoted to leashless... For a while now I hadn't came close to rolling and kinda got cocky on some 2'-3' and didn't bother timing it... There'll be a sixer waiting for you when we meet. I can pick it up whenever, just pm me with your address...
