Eagle Cuda 350 - bypass transducer?? - Kayak Fishing Adventures on Big Water’s Edge

I have a need to bypass the transducer on my Eagle Cuda 350 and would like to use the GPS feature alone. Since physically disconnecting the transducer, the unit goes back into demo mode constantly and makes it basically un-useable. Anyone know of a bypass method on the transducer? Maybe a wiring bypass to fool the head unit into thinking it's still there so that 'demo mode' doesn't constantly come up? Maybe a programming answer that will tell the unit to ignore the transducer's functions? I have already contacted Lowrance/Eagle tech support and they did not have any answer for me.

Any help, schematic or bypass suggestions would be greatly appreciated!
