So little detail in all articles, would be interesting to know where, how fast and if alcohol was involved. It was Labor day weekend after all.

But it is a bummer indeed.

Total bummer. She may have been completely in the right. Kayak vs 50+ foot vessel, no chance. Those big boats can't turn on a dime.

The South Jetty is my go-to spot for Calicos. I've had NUMEROUS close calls in that inlet.

Sad all around.
