Fish didn't put up much of a fight and was totally green when I gaffed it...it put on a show! Check it out.

Nice fish! What did it measure 35"? That thing put on a show. Stoked for you that you didn't lose the halibut, or possibly your gaff..

Dude, I have never seen a kayak go under the water like that without digging into the sand.

Was that the 7ft wave from county line?

some of those fish have bad attitudes.

I think I would have pulled out my bait knife and started stabbing at that point... and probably punctured my hull (or myself) in the process.

That must have been a pretty big wave on your stern to make your kayak submarine like that.
