Great info;
Great for an offshore private boater
Slightly overkill for a kayak..

Example;

Operator: Ryan
Vessel: Kayak
Vessel description: 13 feet plastic skunk attractor

And I think the rest of the page would be left blank, and to think of filling this out and giving it to a loved one a couple times a week
(youd send them on an emotional roller coaster)

Now I always liked the idea on rough days of leaving a float plan on the dash of your car labeled ironically enough "float plan" but its a double edged sword, as you make yourself vulnerable for theft....

IMHO
I think just a casual "hey babe im fishing dana today" is enough....

But once again what the hell do I know. That being said Ill probably get swept to todos santos next time i go fishing and have to live off mackerel and granola bars.....

On very long days, with less than favorable conditions, I leave one with the life guard. Leaving it on your car is stupid

"Hey thief, I'm going to be gone for 9 hours, have at it"
