malone seawing for hobie outback ?

I just baught two used hobie outbacks and need to transport them on a suburban. The malone seawings are for 32" kayaks, the outback is 34". I also plan on using the factory crossbar. Would 2" wider be a problem? Are the factory crossbars strong enough? I don't want to see my boats in my rear view. Any help is appreciated.

Check your owners manual. Most factory racks are 125 pounds. Suburban may be beefier like 175 which would suffice. Also measure the span of the load bars to see if they will fit side by side

You will not be putting in the middle, tapered toward bow and stern will be less than 32"

Thank you Iceman, the suburban owners manual rates the rack for 200lb max. I'm good there. Malone downloader is rated for 36" kayaks to 75lbs. Malone says the seawing would'nt handle the outbacks and suggested a trailer. Cash is a problem and parking at some locations seems like it could be. Unless there is some serious negative feedback I'll go with the downloader and get rollin. Thanks again for your help.
