which color lenses

Bout to invest in some nice polarized glasses and Im not sure what color lenses to get. I've always worn/ bought the amber color lenses in all my sunglasses, but I've read about having the darker color for brighter days..

any thoughts?

thanks - nic

Amber lenses don't have to be light colored... get dark amber! I like amber due to the increase in contrast. If some color shift is a problem get polarized gray. Either way get glass if possible as there's less distortion and more clarity vs polycarbonate. I've got Maui Jim and Serengeti that I use.

i heard it depends on the fishing youre doing i think the lighter greens are more for sight fishing and whatnot and the darker lenses offer more protection i saw some in a mag that had lenses you could just swap out like 4 diff colors i forget what kind tho

Usually the color of is based on the type of light you will be wearing them in. Gray for you standard lighting, Amber in over cast or diminished lighting, and Yellow for low light such as dusk or dawn. Personally for what we do around here it's up to your personal preference. I go with the Gray 90% of the time.

I just got 2 pairs of Interlock glasses form Smith.

Dude these are the bomb. You can change out the lenses in under a minute. I wear Grey Polar most the time but when I am sign fishing Bass I like Amber or Brown polar. Bought both colors spare so I can easily swap depending on light conditions.

They even came with clear and some redish tinted lenses for the gun range. I am very stoked.
