Mag Bay? Just after CHRISTMAS????? Or, need TWO WEEKS. Where to camp or stay, what areas to fish, need lots of info on the area. Lets plan it now. Who would be interested that could go? Who's been there, suggestions. This could be another trip of a lifetime.

On friday at 2:20 pm they took my toe. They will not give it back, it was sent to pathology for testing then to disposal, it might be toxic. There was no pain involved, no pain meds. Diabetic nuroapathy killed the pain receptors years ago, no feeling in the feet. I got home Saturday afternoon and on bed test for a couple more days. Walked 100yds this morning with no aid or assistance, balance is a little different but I think it is all in the shoe I have to wear on the left foot. Hope to see you all soon, and thank you for your prayers. Tight lines.

Just wanted to let you know Bob, that you were in the thoughts of those of us that participated in the Rock Fish Round Up for HOW yesterday. I clearly heard on the radio chatter that it was messed up that now you would only be able to count to 19. Or that some had suggested you could use the once attached toe for bait. Glad you're OK. Wishing you a speedy recovery. Tight Lines.

What would you rather:

Use your own toe to use for bait to catch a trigger?

Find that with your dead nerve endings, a trigger is eating your still-connected toe?

Just had 1st follow up with surgeon. She opened dressing and said "and then there were nine". Looks good, dry and no signs of bleeding or infection. Come back next Wednesday and I might take the stitches out but probabally will wait until the following week just to be sure. So I should be in the water before the end of May. Right on schedule for San Quintin and Gonzaga trips. Life is great!!!!! Get out there and ENJOY it. Tight lines.
