11/28 Shelter Island

Had to go try the bay after I saw Hobie-Pedaler's post(thanks for the good report). Launched around 7am, tide coming in. Fished around the pier for four Sandies, countless mackrel (that would hit my Gulp bait on the bottom???), and 1 Bonita. Used Gulp shrimp in the penny color and a krockidile. Fished untill 10am, saw 4 other Kayaks out. Nice morning no wind, the bite seemed to stop when the tide wet slack. Second time fishing from a kayak and first time in the bay. Sorry no pictures, I broke the camera last time out.
