Are you yakkin or just surf fishing. I'll stop by and say hi with my boys, 2 7's and a nine.
I live very close. That's my backyard.

Also, if your not bringing your yak. I have a Pro2, w FF and a trident 4.7, fully
rigged

Sorry not posting, usually only have a bit of computer time in the early AM and I'm just learning to do pics...I'll try to load some Carpfisher pics soon

Been there for about 5 years now, every spring break and a little during summer. We get on the Reserve america site early and camp right up front. Nothing nicer than looking out on the water from your camper.
(I think that the camp loops are San Miguel and Santa Rosa? There are 4 loops, I get the names mixed up.)

The brewery right by the tracks? Been there, drank that...

Did not take a kayak there but sure want to kayak it. Surk fishing has been fun but I need a little more.

CARPFISHER I will PM you and take you up on that offer, I got a 5 year old boy, maybe the kids can get into some beach trouble together?

Bret, I will be arriving on the 20th. So I won't fish til the 21st.

I'll take a day off during the week. Let me know which one you want to yak fish
all day on. I'll bring both over. Bring a couple conical nets also if you want.
I only have two. Both yaks are rigged easily for at least two full sized conicals.
I think bug season is closed but I still drop em for kicks.
Also, I don't mind leaving my tandem down there with you for a few if you'd like to take junior or the Mrs on an evening cruise some time. I work all week but can take one full day off and stop by some evenings for some partyin plus the usual formal hello's, family, kid stuff.
Also, bring you're perch pole-I'll show you my fish a cast spot a ways down.

I'll post some pics tonight after I put the young uns to bed.....

understandable, setting up camp, fun, busy, and most of all impotante!!!
If you haven't fished from the yak there yet...do...you have to launch and land a ways up from camp, but worth it when it is on there...stay away from the smelt, but can be fishee...good luck out there and have some fun for me...

Spring break is a state of mind....like Ericko said, anytime.

Hey Jim, thanks for looking out with the PM. Will look for the reef on some charts.

Can't wait to say hi to the uptight seal ladies south of the park.
