I have had one for a year plus, excellent rod for the price. It's the perfect combo rod for sd bay fishing and well worth the money. Just in case you need a 8lb -17lb rod that can do duty from shore, kayak and inshore island fishing. I recently paired it with a shimano 300a, so for about $160.00 combined when you shop around its an amazing set up.
Was on a half day earlier this year and the deckhands were all over it, easy casting and the best part is its all graphite, 9 or 10 ringlets, well made. Easily my best go to rod.
