Friday LJ video

I'm just starting to learn about editing, as a matter of fact I am still learning alot about fishing too. Went out for a quick am trip before work and brought my HD Hero camera for another test run. Made the video in about 10 minutes when I got home on Friday. I'd probably put in some more effort if I found the right kind. Well here it is, go easy on me

That is pretty sweet. I like the camera angle, it gives an awesome perspective. Can't wait to see you bring up the right kind.

I like it!
I also got a hero hd, had it out a few times with no love. I honestly think that it is a jinx and it repels fish Its kinda like the days that you head out super prepared, you will be bound to get a skunk, but you will get the fish of a life time if you forget your gaff, cooler, etc...
Now I try to forget something everytime I go out.

Its mounted on top of a 4' piece of pvc that I just put in the forward rod holder on my crate. I can reach it from my seat and just turn it on. An just in case I have a couple of bungee leashes securing it. The camera is pretty cool, it hase a 170 degree view. Which get everything from the bait swimming around to all of the other peeps around you hooked up.

You and your equipment did a nice job. Great angle and framing on the action. Looking forward to some more.

Eric,

I don't get the "Not Today" title. You caught a fish didn't you? I heard that most guys on the water last Friday got blanked. Anyway, in my view the best way to catch a shark is to hook it, fight it and then let it self release at the very end.

If that had been me, I would have counted this a productive day.

Nice video. Keep 'em coming.

Bob

I have a boat load of questions... but I'll go easy on ya

do you know what the focal length of the "regular" camera is as opposed to the "wide angle" that you have?

Id love to get two, one fishy and one standard.

I know what you mean Bob, it was nice to get something on the hook. Just a little disappointing when you first see it and its not what you expected. Wish I could have taken it home for some tacos!

"fishy" and "regular", thats a little too technical for me. But here is the camera that I have. It has a few different settings on it. Hopefully its all on their site.
