'09 WS Tarpon 160

I thought this was supposed to be out by now but I have not seen any reviews???? Anyone have a chance to paddle one yet? I will be looking for a new yak very soon and would like to get as much feedback as possible. One can only test paddle/peddle these things so many times...

I havent had a chance to see them or paddle one, but if you check texaskayakfisherman.com you might get some more feedback. It seems wilderness systems isnt so big out here, but back home in texas they're all over the place. I've got a 160i from 2005 thats great for out here, paddles like a sports car! Just races around out there on the high seas!

Pictures of the '09 160i

The tankwell is larger than the '08 and it lost the small hatch behind the seat.

Thanks Mark...I have seen this before and actually got to see one in person last week at Southwind Kayaks in Costa Mesa. Definitely looks like an improvement over the '08's especially with the fit and finish and the new hatches. I still think I may go the Hobie route but it is a nice looking boat.
